My Story
I’m Majella Zentveld - a BAS Agent, mentor, and business guide with over 25 years’ experience in the bookkeeping profession.
My career has been shaped by experience, resilience, and a genuine passion for helping people grow, professionally and personally. I began my journey in bookkeeping more than two decades ago, working across a wide range of businesses, industries, and accounting systems. Over the years, I’ve seen the profession evolve dramatically, from manual records to cloud-based systems, automation, and increasingly complex compliance obligations, and I’ve evolved alongside it.
Becoming a registered BAS Agent was a defining chapter in my career. It represented accountability, professional responsibility, and a commitment to operating at the highest standard. I understand firsthand that the journey from bookkeeper to BAS Agent is about far more than meeting eligibility criteria, it’s about developing confidence, sound judgement, ethical awareness, and the ability to navigate real-world complexity.
That understanding led me to create From Bookkeeper to BAS Agent – Supervised Pathway, where I support bookkeepers through their journey to BAS Agent registration with structured, TPB-aligned supervision that is practical, evidence-based, and genuinely supportive.
But the journey doesn’t end at licensing.
Through my work with newly registered BAS Agents, I saw a consistent gap; talented professionals stepping into registration only to feel uncertain, isolated, or overwhelmed once supervision ended. Technical knowledge was there, but confidence, clarity, systems, and sustainable business foundations were often missing.
This is where Evolve - The Next Chapter was born.
Evolve is my post-licensing mentoring program, designed to support BAS Agents as they move beyond registration and into confident, capable, and sustainable practice, where growth, leadership, and long-term success take centre stage.
Today, my work extends beyond bookkeeping alone. I support business owners across all industries who are ready to grow, strengthen their foundations, and build businesses that truly support the life they want, not just financially, but personally as well.

The transition from bookkeeper to BAS Agent, and then from newly registered to confident practitioner, can feel isolating and overwhelming. Too often, professionals are left to figure it out once the formal requirements are met, without the structure, feedback, or reassurance they actually need.
I believe supervision should be more than oversight. Mentoring should be more than advice. Real support provides:
